The Gulf Coast division of ELG Metals, Inc., is located in Houston, Texas. The plant is on a 6 acre fully concreted area, including a large building that houses our turnings crusher and inventory. This structure enables us to maintain a high level of environmental integrity in regards to storm water runoff.
We process Stainless Steels, Ni-Cr-Fe's, Titanium, Monel, Cu Ni's, Tool Steel, and Ni Co alloys. The bulk materials are processed with a 1100 ton capacity shear, and the plant is less than 2 miles from three deep water ports. This enables us to load ocean going vessels as well as barges. Containers are also loaded at our facility.
The Houston operation is a pivot plant that can ship to various steel mills around the World, as well as Domestic consumers.
